Main House: 3rd Floor

The third floor of the main house has a total of 1702 square feet; this total includes the screened porch adjacent to the master bedroom, which is 175 square feet.  The screened porch can be used as a “sleeping porch”, a concept that was popular when Charles and Henry Greene were designing Craftsman style homes in the early 1900s.  It is a peaceful way of sleeping in the treetops – listening to the sounds of the animals and the trees moving in the wind, and watching the path of the moon across the sky.
